I have a lifelong passion for dogs. In 2011 I decided to take my passion to the next level, enrolled in Animal Behavior College and with help of great mentors made my dream of training dogs come true.
I became a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, CPDT-KA, ABC-DT dog trainer through Animal Behavior College. I am a AKC CGC, ATT, C.L.A.S.S Instructor and Evaluator. I am a professional member of APDT. I am also a member of the Pet Professional Guild. I attend seminars and classes throughout the year to stay informed and continue to craft my skill as a trainer. I also have been a puppy raiser for training service dogs.
We are a full-service dog trainer, we use positive reinforcement methods, along with behavior modification techniques to make training fun for all.
I decided to start Canine Scholars in 2013. My journey has come full circle. I live with my husband Al who supports me in all my endeavors, our Labradors Remi, Kenzi, Wilton, Ezra, Sherlock. Golden Retrieves Temperance, Seeley and Nevah, cats, chickens, and ducks.
